“As you start to walk out on the way, the way appears.” – Rumi

The quote above is new to my front page and it really hit home.   Recently I have been in conversation after conversation with people who are challenged by “not knowing” the outcomes situation, of being nervous about what the Divine Universe has in store for them, and are they forgotten by the same Universe?  How does one walk forward into what sometimes feels like the pitch-black dark?    It’s simple really…but I would never tell you it is easy.  It can fee like the hardest thing in the world to take that first step into the dark.   The quote above speaks to that feeling of “now what?”

I have had many challenges with the concept of “walking in the dark,” or through a thick fog.  It was not so pretty at times.    I also know people who seem to have it totally together, always knowing just how their ducks are in a row quite nicely, what steps to take next, have sight of the goal, and so on.  I am sure you know people like that as well.

But what I am finding over these past months, is that everyone is having the proverbial rug yanked out from under them.   I have been witness to several crash and burns, but I have also been witness to a lot of laughter, some tears through the laughter, listened to a few rantings and ravings.. and had the privilege of being able to witness some very gutsy people get up and start walking again.

What’s up with all of this anyway?   Well, it seems that our over souls, along with the Divine Universe are asking us to “let go” (yea, don’t you hate that phrase sometimes), and trust.   What a challenge for most of us humans!  To trust in the unseen, and more importantly to trust that the Universe has our best interests at heart, and actually wants better for us than we want for ourselves.

My own experiences with this concept of letting go and walking forward have been stunningly beautiful, exquisitely timed by the Divine, and sometimes rather emotional.  Are you with me so far?  Can you relate to any of this?

I can say that from personal experiences that letting go and walking forward with the Universe, hand in hand, can be one of the most exquisite experiences that you will ever experience.   You will know you are seen, heard, loved and cared for in ways that you cannot imagine.

So if you have a particular challenge and feel like you are “under water” in whatever capacity, let go a little bit…tell the Universe “just for today I will trust you to look out for me” and watch your day unfold.   The only thing it will require of you is to let go….be patient …. willing to embrace what comes your way.   It might not be exactly what you asked for but is perfect for the moment.    And do it again tomorrow and the next day and the next.    Being in your heart (not your head/ego mind) is helpful because your heart knows exactly where it is going.  But more on that in another post.

For now, just take a step forward…..

And if you have an experience you want to share we would love to hear about it.

sending you blessings for your journey,
